You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people, across Europe and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to kickstart, or accelerate, a career in B2B sales at one of the UK’s most exciting fintechs. Whether you’re a recent graduate with a self starter attitude or have up to 18 months’ B2B sales experience, you’ll join our high-performing Corporate Sales Team, helping to connect Wagestream with some of the UK’s best-known employers.
You’ll learn the art (and science) of modern solution selling, gain exposure to senior stakeholders in HR, reward, and finance, and contribute directly to a product that changes people’s lives.
What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with Business Development Managers to open new opportunities, create conversations, and ensure Wagestream is front-of-mind for frontline employers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching and identifying prospective corporate clients.
- Reaching out via email, phone, and social channels to start meaningful conversations.
- Qualifying inbound and outbound leads, understanding their challenges, and spotting where we can add value.
- Booking high-quality meetings for Business Development Managers with HR, reward, and finance decision-makers.
- Helping prepare for pitches and demos, ensuring prospects get a world-class first impression.
- Using our CRM to track activity, progress deals, and stay organised.
- Working closely with marketing and sales colleagues to refine our outreach and share learnings.
What we're looking for
- A curious, commercial mindset and genuine interest in sales.
- Either: Graduate-level education OR proven B2B sales/business development experience.
- Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders (including C-suite) by phone, video, and email.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from feedback.
- Energy, drive, and a collaborative approach to hitting goals as part of a team.
Working Policy: We operate a hybrid policy of 4 days onsite in our London office.
Salary: A starting base salary of £35,000 + OTE + Equity

- Introductory Call - If it looks like a fit, we’ll invite you to a short call with our Talent team. This is your chance to learn more about Wagestream, the SDR role, and ask us any questions you might have.
- SDR Recruitment Day - From there, you’ll be invited to our upcoming SDR Open Day at our Fitzrovia offices on September 29th. You’ll meet our team, experience the role in action, take part in practical exercises, and get a feel for our culture.
- Follow-Up & Offers - After the open day, we’ll be in touch quickly to let you know the outcome and, for successful candidates, next steps towards joining the team.
