You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people, across Europe and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.
The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Head/Manager of Facilities to oversee our 4-floor office space, capable of creating an exceptional workplace experience for our employees. This role combines operational facility management with creative event planning to foster a vibrant company culture.
What will you be doing?
Facilities Management
- Oversee daily operations of our state of the art 4-floor office space in the heart of Fitzrovia, ensuring all facilities are maintained to high standards.
- Owning all tenant queries, mmanaging relationships with vendors, service providers, and building management. Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and improvements across all floors.
- Implementing and maintain safety and security protocols.
- Oversee office inventory management and procurement.
- Manage space planning and allocation, including hot-desking and meeting room systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with IT team on infrastructure needs.
Company Flat Management
- Oversee all facilities and stock/supplies needs for the company flat. This includes routine maintenance, cleaning services, and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the flat to address any maintenance issues promptly.
Events Management
- Support the planning and execution of internal company events.
- Coordinate all logistics and stock for external events.
- Manage event budgets and vendor relationships.
- Create engaging office experiences that enhance company culture.
Administrative
- Develop and manage facilities and events budgets
- Create and maintain facilities-related policies and procedures
- Generate regular reports on facilities operations and event outcomes
- Coordinate with Finance team on budget tracking and forecasting
- Manage facilities-related contracts and documentation
What experience might you have?
Must-haves: (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)
- 5+ years of facilities management experience, preferably in a multi-floor office environment.
- Proven track record in event planning and execution.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Experience with health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and facilities management software.
Can-be-learnt:
- BIFM/IWFM qualification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with smart building technologies.
- Experience in office renovation or relocation projects.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work flexibly, including occasional hours outside the standard schedule.
Working Policy: We require you to be on-site in the office the London office five days a week.
